Jacob Hartley serves as a Legislative Assistant at Capitol Counsel, LLC. Hartley supports clients across the firm’s Canada, Commerce, Energy, and Trade practice areas, advising on legislative and regulatory matters. He works with Congressional and other federal stakeholders to advance client priorities while providing timely, forward-looking analysis of federal policy developments. He brings particular focus to international policy issues affecting Canada, the European Union, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Hartley earned a Master’s in International Governance and Diplomacy from Sciences Po Paris and is fluent in English and French.
