Michael Lamoureux is a partner at Capitol Counsel, LLC. A seasoned attorney and former member of both the Arkansas State House of Representatives and the Arkansas State Senate, Lamoureux brings extensive political and legislative expertise to the firm. During his tenure in the Arkansas State Senate, he was elected by his peers to serve as Senate President in 2013. In 2014, he resigned from the Senate to lead Governor Asa Hutchinson’s transition team and subsequently served as the Governor’s Chief of Staff. Lamoureux specializes in developing transformative political strategies and has cultivated strong relationships across government sectors. His areas of focus includes tax, financial services, energy, healthcare, technology, and regulatory issues.
