Alan Hill Joins Capitol Counsel As Of Counsel

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Capitol Counsel announced that Alan Hill, founder of the J.A. Hill Group, will join the firm as Of Counsel, bringing decades of executive leadership and experience across legislative, public affairs, and strategic advisory roles.
Hill’s career spans senior roles across government relations, public affairs, and business development, positioning him as a recognized subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients in the communications, technology, energy, and advanced materials and manufacturing sectors. In addition to advising private-sector clients, Hill has testified before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission on China’s dominance in advanced materials. Following that testimony, he was invited to serve as a strategic advisor to two advanced materials startups.
Earlier in his career, Hill served on the staff of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, an experience he cites as the most formative of his professional career. He later served as the Legislative Director to former Congressman Cliff Stearns (R-FL-06), further deepening his expertise in legislative strategy and policy development.
